Windsurfing: Shoreham Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: F6 Surf / Sea State: Small ramps Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Max Speed: Distance Covered:
I sailed Shoreham from half four til 6 ish. Rigged big at 5m and stuck it
out so there was no chance of having to pump. Lots of power for the slight
wind shadow on the inside. Waves were small but there was some order on
the inside and one or two groomed faces and delicate lips to try and slam
into. Seemed to get smaller as the wind increased with the tide dropping
out and it got busier with Team North arriving. Jumps ok and witnessed a
few big backies and pushies etc from Pearch and Baker and Garethh.
Belted to Hove when it was time to change to a smaller sail. Only one out
at Dead Man's and it was ragged, cross-onshore and messy. I went home
instead.
